SDAR & Commercial Real Estate Alliance Announce Opposition to Prop 15

SDAR and the Commercial Real Estate Alliance of San Diego (CRASD) are opposing Proposition 15, a California ballot initiative that would impose a split-roll tax system.

If approved, Prop 15 would require property reassessments to take place on commercial properties at least every three years, with a limited exception for certain small business owners with land valued under $3 million. SDAR and CRASD say that Prop 15 will undo the tax protections the region has benefited from under 1978's Prop 13.

The proposition will appear on state ballots for the November 3 General Election.  Read more.
