Fire Hardening Update: September 2026 prepares real estate professionals to navigate California’s current disclosure requirements. Led by Jacqueline “Jackie” A. Oliver, Esq., a seasoned attorney, broker, and educator with over 40 years of real estate expertise, this course will walk you through the latest regulations and best practices for compliance.

 

Seller Agents will learn how to properly advise their Sellers on how to disclose property vulnerabilities, accurately report retrofits completed, and complete the revised C.A.R. Fire Hardening and Defensible Space (FHDS) form.   Buyer agents will learn how to interpret the disclosures and to explain the fire hardening requirements to their Buyers.  This Course provides current information on Fire Hardening to protect clients, reduce risk, and confidently guide transactions in high fire hazard areas according to State requirements.
