Counters 'n Cancellations

Counters 'n Cancellations is a practical course designed to help REALTORS® confidently navigate two critical, and often complex, parts of a real estate transaction: counter offers and contract cancellations. Led by attorney, broker, and real estate transaction expert Jacqueline A. Oliver, Esq., this session explores the different counter offer forms, how they are used, and best practices for managing multiple counters and offers.

The course also examines the important distinctions between buyer and seller cancellation rights, escrow cancellation procedures, and the disposition and refund of deposits. REALTORS® will gain practical insights into using the appropriate forms, understanding key contractual considerations, and reducing risk when transactions change direction.
