Real Estate Exams and COVID-19

The Department of Real Estate (DRE) is cancelling real estate salesperson and broker license exams in all exam centers from March 18, 2020 to April 7, 2020. This action is being taken to comply with multiple county public health agencies ordering residents to shelter in place to slow the spread of COVID-19.

The 2020 Elevate Expo Postponed

We are monitoring the recommendations from the CDC and San Diego Health & Human Services. With member safety being our top priority, we regretfully announce that we will be postponing our 2020 Elevate Real Estate Conference & Expo (scheduled for May 1) until further notice. We know that this is a highly anticipated event for the San Diego real estate community and will notify you in advance of any changes.

County Assessor Continues to Serve the Community

We are committed to our members and to protecting the business of REALTORS®. For this reason, we are pleased to share that the office of the County Assessor/Recorder/Clerk has plans to continue processing electronic and mailed recording should the closure of county buildings and services be announced.

Office Hours and Member Support

Given the continued attention and the ever-changing effects of COVID-19 on businesses and our community, we want to provide an update to all of our members. Our offices will remain open (for the time being); however, effective today at 2:00 p.m., we will be closed to walk-in traffic, including our retail store, until further notice. If you have questions or support needs, please feel free to either call our office directly, or email us.
