We are pleased to share that the office of the County Assessor/Recorder/Clerk has plans to continue processing electronic and mailed recording should the closure of county buildings and services be announced.
As the country continues to respond to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 public health concern, several counties have announced closures of county buildings and suspension of services. The County of San Diego has not yet made such an announcement, but may do so at any time.
Like so many of you, we were concerned over how such a closure in San Diego might affect recording services provided by the office of County Assessor Ernie Dronenburg. His office was responsive to our concerns and designated staff to remain in place through the closure to process electronic as well as mailed recordings. However, in-person submissions will not be available due to health concerns. Information on county services can be found at arcc.sdcounty.ca.gov
