Home Sales Slip Again in January; Median Prices are Mixed Bag

Resale home transactions saw another drop in January, and although that’s not uncommon for the first month of the year, it’s been a trend for the past six months. Single-family home sales fell 19 percent last month compared to December, and attached properties (condominiums and townhomes) were down nearly 13 percent.
