San Diego Association of REALTORS® Election for 2009 Leadership Information/Timeline
One of the privileges of your SDAR membership is to participate in the election of Association leadership. The 2009 Officers and Directors will be chosen by eligible REALTOR® members during a secure online election beginning Monday, August 25 at 8:00 a.m. (PST).
Please click on this PDF for nominations for candidates for the offices of President-Elect, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Directors. The deadline to petition to be included in the Candidate Guide was Monday, July 7, 2008 by 5:00 p. m. Eligible members may petition to be included on the ballot if they gather enough signatures (2 percent of the REALTOR® membership as of record date of July 23) by Friday, July 25, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. (PST)
It is SDAR’s policy to make this a fair process. No candidate is provided access to SDAR’s mailing list or email list, nor can they use SDAR facilities for printing or posting campaign materials. A Candidate Guide is published in the July/August edition of San Diego REALTOR® magazine and on the web site for voters to review.
New this year, video profiles of officers will be available August 1 on the web site for viewing. Candidates are allowed to purchase their own one-page “remember to vote” advertisement in the August and/or September issue of SDAR-At-A-Glance.
Timeline for SDAR’s election procedure:

| Thursday, September 4 at 5:00 p.m. | Online polls close |
| Friday, September 5 | Election Committee meets to receive election results |
| Monday, September 8 | Election results posted in Association offices and on web site |
| Friday, September 12 | Election results announced at Annual Meeting – Member Appreciation Day. |
