Mediation Services

Mediation is a voluntary process where a neutral third party helps disputing parties reach a mutually acceptable solution. It is often the first step in resolving conflicts.

At SDAR, our experienced mediators work to foster open communication, clarify misunderstandings, and guide parties toward an agreement that satisfies both sides — without the need for formal hearings or legal action.

When to Consider Mediation:

  • Commission disputes between REALTORS®

  • Transactional disagreements

  • Misunderstandings involving contracts or cooperation

Arbitration Services

Arbitration is a more formal process where an impartial panel hears both sides of a dispute and renders a binding decision.

At SDAR, arbitration is available primarily for:

  • Commission disputes between REALTORS®

  • Monetary disputes arising from real estate transactions

Arbitration through SDAR is conducted by the procedures outlined by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and ensures that your case is heard fairly, professionally, and expediently.

When Arbitration May Be Required:
As part of your REALTOR® membership, you have agreed to resolve certain disputes through Association arbitration rather than court litigation.
