Many Directors also serve on C.A.R. Committees—from Professional Standards to Legislative Advocacy. Here's how to get involved:
Apply each fall via the C.A.R. website
Talk to Spencer Lugash or Janelle Morrow about recommendations
Choose committees that align with your interests and experience
Let SDAR and C.A.R. know immediately. Your absence impacts quorum and voting power.
Check the C.A.R. app or the emailed meeting packet from Janelle Morrow.
Only when C.A.R. offers a hybrid option. In-person participation is strongly preferred.
