As a seasoned and highly respected attorney with expertise in residential and commercial real estate, transactional and litigation matters, I recently joined Hoffman & Forde, a business and real estate litigation firm. I have extensive experience with real estate brokerages, having served over the past 20 years as corporate counsel, to Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties. In addition to my corporate positions, I teach classes on contracts, risk management, and real estate transactional issues and have participated in numerous panel presentations to real estate agents.

I am a volunteer puppy raiser and public speaker for Canine Companions, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing highly trained service dogs to people with disabilities. Over the past 25 years I have trained more than twenty puppies to prepare them for future “careers” as service dogs.
I am also a certified AKC evaluator and train dogs for TADSAW (Train a Dog, Save a Warrior), a nonprofit organization that provides dogs to Veterans.
I have been a judge for Teen Court, a program under Social Advocates for Youth, which provides diversion services for youth who become involved with the justice system for the first time, who accept responsibility for their wrongdoing, and who agree to a binding sentence selected by a jury of their peers.
Hourly Mediation Rates (split between the parties)
Mediation preparation: $300 per hour
Mediation (4-hour minimum): $350 per hour
Post-mediation work: $300 per hour
